Institut Lluís Domènech i Montaner was established in Reus in 1989 and is a high school which strives to deliver courses with the latest innovations. It has gradually adapted to the different educational needs of our society. Our school aims to achieve success in education and to facilitate personal growth as well.
Currently, the school has around 900 students, spread among different educational choices. The curriculum structure offers Secondary Education (4 courses), A Levels (2 courses in two main branches -Humanities and Science-) and Intermediate and Advanced Vocational Training courses (and apprenticeships) in a wide range of different technical fields:
- Maintenance and Electromechanics
- Automated Systems
- Electrical equipment
- Electronic equipment
We are also involved in a number of “ study-abroad” programs (or work- abroad as regards to Vocational Training Courses). Since we offer ESL, our students can participate in European programs (Comenius, eTwinning, Leonardo, Erasmus+, …) stays in England and Exchange programs with France, Denmark and Germany.
The school staff attends regular general and technical refresher courses to ensure the inclusion of latest technologies and curriculum developments. Continuous learning leads directly to good practice and benefits our students.
